The property/land are beautiful, private, and have so much potential, but unfortunately the house did not live up to the listing. It’s advertised for 30 guests, yet there was not enough seating, kitchen utensils or bath/beach towels to accommodate 30. The primary kitchen oven and WiFi did not work, showers backed up, cornhole boards were broken, and the dock ladder was not securely attached. The exterior doors were also extremely difficult to open. Communication was quick, but there was very little follow-through. We were given the address of a firewood store that had actually been closed for 13 years, and when we reported the lack of kitchen towels, we were told they should be there and the cleaning company would be contacted. No towels were provided, so we had to purchase them ourselves. We loved the land and would consider returning if the property received the maintenance and investment it clearly needs. For 30 guests and the price, we expected much more.
