Our properties allows pets. There is a $100 fee for up to four dogs.
Yes! All of our properties offer free on-site parking with ample space to accommodate multiple vehicles. Whether you're arriving with family, friends, or a large group, you’ll have convenient and secure parking right at your stay.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. This allows our team to thoroughly prepare the property for your stay.
Each Big Sky Barnhouse is packed with one-of-a-kind features designed for unforgettable group getaways. Many homes include slides built right into the layout (yes—actual slides!), fully stocked kitchens for big family meals, and even a beach basement with wall-to-wall sand. Some properties sit on open farmland, offering total peace, privacy, and room to spread out. Whether you’re celebrating grandma’s 90th or just looking to reconnect with your favorite people, each stay is designed for real connection, comfort, and a little bit of magic.

Yes! All of our kitchens come stocked with the essentials: pots, pans, utensils, dishware, basic spices, baking sheets, coffee makers, and more. Just bring your groceries and favorite recipes—we’ve got the rest covered.
Yes, each property has Wi-Fi. It’s perfect for streaming, emails, and remote work.
Our homes are made for connection and can host 20–40 guests comfortably. With bunk rooms, large dining areas, and multiple lounge spaces, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out.
Yes! All of our properties have propane grills. We provide the propane and grilling utensils. For fire pits, we offer either propane or firewood, depending on the property. Cozy nights around the fire? Always.
The Big Sky Barnhouse was amazing! Highly recommend. The kids and parents were never bored with so many activities. Amazing outdoor views as well! I’d recommend this property to everyone.

A great spot for our gathering. The theater is impressive, and the main kitchen/hall is super nice, and worked great for our dinner. Don’t sleep on the slide, it’s fast. We didn’t have too much time outdoors, so can’t comment on these amenities. We couldn’t get the golf simulator working btw, but pool worked great.

We loved this place! This was exactly what my group had wanted, a nice property that we could just spend time with each other and have fun together. This place had so many things to do, and we enjoyed it all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Our family of 26 thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. We had 15 grand kids, 12 and under, all the way up to a 91 year old. Everyone enjoyed their time at the Barn and kept busy the whole time. The kids were worn out and slept great both nights. They were running up the stairs to go down the slide over and over. The kitchen had most everything we needed. There were several cabinets full of glasses. With 15 grand kids we were too afraid we would break them so didn't plan on using them... but I finally realized they were plastic so we did use them. 😊 We all agree that we had the most fun we ever had as a family. If you search Face Book (Big Sky Barnhouse in Cloquet) you should be able to see my daughter Heidi's, short video of our weekend there. Big smiles throughout the video. There is already talk of going back next year.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home—it was the perfect getaway for both adults and kids. The house is spacious, well-stocked, and packed with activities, from games and outdoor spaces to plenty of room to relax and unwind. The setting is absolutely stunning, with peaceful views that made mornings and evenings especially memorable. Fishing off the dock was a highlight for our group—fun, easy to access, and great for all skill levels. It truly felt like there was something for everyone, and we’d absolutely come back again! The basketball court, football toss, slides, theater room, etc., were just perfect for spending our Mother's Day weekend enjoying our large family. The house comfortably slept 20 adults/children with room for more. We will definitely plan more family gatherings, as it was centrally located for our families spread across eastern/central KY.

Our stay was great, we had multiple couples staying for a wedding in the area and even with a large group of people it never felt crowded and everyone had plenty of space to get ready. There are so many things to do in the house you almost run out of time before you have to leave. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots, pans, cups, plates and silverware(even a baking sheet that fit 130 pizza rolls). This place is a must stay. The golf simulator was better than I expected. If you’re a golfer I would recommend bringing your own clubs and really see what your game is made of.

Our family had a great time. Big Rapids is a quiet town outside of the college campus, so this provides great space and entertainment with the barn for a full family to experience and escape. With being a reasonable drive from the Metro area in Michigan and great staycation in MI Place was very spacious
