House was clean, matched the description, and was in the exact location we needed! There were a few things we had to reach out to our host about and they were always responsive, and checked in on us on a daily basis proactively in addition to that.

Just that I think the bathroom could use a upgrade and that the water took forever to go down in tub, that was unacceptable for me

The home and location were just what I needed. The only distressful issue was being given the wrong code to enter. It took about 15 minutes standing outside the door in the dark after a long drive before we could get into the house. A human mistake, but distressful for me, nonetheless. Note there is one bathroom upstairs, may not be ideal for some in this regard. The main bedroom decor was lovely, location is great and would stay here again. Thank you, Sydney and Dylan

Enjoy our stay, host was awesome!

The location itself was fine, but our stay was disrupted by a serious safety issue. At approximately 3:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day, we were locked out of the property with no access to re-enter. All of our belongings, including our car keys, were locked inside, leaving us without shelter or transportation in cold temperatures. We contacted the host immediately, but were unable to receive timely assistance to regain access. As two women stranded outside at 3:00 a.m., this felt unsafe and left us with no reasonable option but to book a hotel and transportation at our own expense. Because of this incident and the lack of immediate support, we were unable to safely continue the stay as planned. Future guests may want to confirm entry procedures and after-hours host availability before booking.

I had an excellent stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was convenient yet peaceful, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my time. The host was outstanding—very responsive, welcoming, and flexible. I especially appreciated their willingness to accommodate an untimely extension to my stay, which made things so much less stressful. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

There should be a washer and dryer. There should be a bathroom on the bottom floor. The place was amazing. I drive a truck so parking was a little bit of a problem if I wanted to back in, but driving in was fine! The place is amazing. It was worth it. This is my second stay and I’ll stay again!

We had a great time with our stay. The location is the best in all of Charlotte. Dilworth is a beautiful part of Charlotte. The home is part of a duplex. During our stay there was a young couple with a two year old in the adjacent suite and we never heard a sound from them during our stay. The home is withing walking distance to many restaurants and if you are looking for a lovely casual walk the neighborhood is gorgeous.

Very beautiful neighborhood in Dilworth area, walkable with restaurants nearby. This unit was a very good value. Host was super responsive.

If location is priority, this is a great pick! Lots of restaurants and grocery store in walking distance or a short ride. Close to the Airport and Uptown attractions. Living space and kitchen are simple, but had what we needed. Roku Tv connections were easy to use. Beds were quite comfortable and had a welcoming set up when we arrived. There is no backyard, but behind home parking made for easy in and out, as well as added security and privacy. As others mentioned, the bathroom is due a renovation, but is offset enough by the value and location.

Perfect location and communicative hosts however bathroom pictures are deceiving. Bathroom needs a full overhaul, it all works, but seems original to the 1930 construction. Other than that - everything was just what I needed to visit family right down the street.

I stayed here for a work retreat to get some projects done without distractions. Easy to walk to grocery store and multiple places to eat & drink.

Accommodations were so clean and very well organized. But above all, the beds were incredibly comfortable. More comfortable than my bed at home. I slept great! We all did. Thanks for a wonderful spot in a wonderful neighborhood. We would definitely book again!

Our stay was absolutely amazing, minus the rain from the weekend. There were tons of places that were close to us so we could walk around and grab a bite to eat, I recommend the famous toastery. When something was wrong Ashley quickly responded to our messages and had things fixed the next day. Hands down one of my favorite places in Charlotte!😊

Sydney’s home was a very clean, comfortable, and convenient place for us to stay while visiting friends in Dilworth. Walkable to our friends’ home, great coffee, groceries, and more - it was exactly what we wanted. We were traveling with a toddler and the bedroom where we set up her pack & play had blackout curtains - always a plus for afternoon naps!

Our stay was comfortable with everything necessary for a short visit to Charlotte. Location was convenient to many area attractions. The home is a duplex with another rental next door with shared but ample parking. There was no issue with noise next door, but the neighborhood could get a bit noisy in the morning with dogs and traffic nearby. There was a small back patio not all that usable because of debris from trees and little privacy from the neighbor. Home itself was nicely appointed in kitchen, dining and living spaces on the first floor. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. While closets were available, there are no dresser drawers or functional end tables. If there is any negative in the upstairs space, it would be the bathroom size. It is charming with its retro vibe but could use a bit of a refresh as the only usable bath in a 2BR rental at this price point (although not a deal breaker if considering a return visit). The hosts were very responsive and helpful!

The location is amazing! Walkable to lots of great spots. The living area and bedrooms are very cute and comfy. We had a small issue with the guests on the other side of the duplex, but Sydney was totally and immediately responsive and everything was resolved. I hope we can come back and stay again!

This is a cute little place, situated in a nice neighborhood yet accessible to restaurants/coffee within walking distance, uptown is just a little over a mile, and our son’s campus was only a few miles in the other direction. The house was private enough for us to collapse and relax at night. The beds were super comfortable. We were supplied with what we needed as far as toiletries, linens, cleaning supplies, even coffee pods. It’s an old house, so windows are thin but noises weren’t super bothersome. Overall a quaint and nice place to stay.

Sydney and the entire team behind this listing were the best hosts. VERY responsive before and after our stay. They made us feel at home before we arrived. The location allows you to get to any part of Charlotte within 10 mins max. From Myers Park, to Foxcroft, to South Park, to Uptown. It was an easy middle point. The only delta was the place upon arrival looked run down. There were 2 drain pipes in the bushes and on the front lawn. Just laying there. There was only 1 bathroom, and it could be charming in a 1940’s way, but the paint peeling on the walls, and the rust stains in the sink and shower. And the build up on the shower window showed a lack of attention. It would be tough for two couples to share that bathroom both size wise and condition. Other than that! The decor is nice and the kitchen is lovely and clearly renovated. Spacious enough for four adults if the bathroom situation was different.

Sweet place, comfortable beds. I left super early last morning so didn’t know I was to take out garbage. Hope that wasn’t a problem. Would have loved more counter space in the bathroom and a full or just better lit mirror space. Charlotte was really great. Hope to return soon.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this home in Dilworth. It was very clean and welcoming with nice linens and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is in a very nice area with plenty of private parking in the back. We did have a small issue on the second day and Ashley promptly took care of it for us. We would recommend this rental for a stay in the Charlotte area. It is located in a very walkable neighborhood and is close to a grocery store and several restaurants and shops.

I didn't interact with Sydney, but Ashley was fantastic! There was a minor issue with the water heater, which Ashley informed me of before check-in. The other side of the duplex was open, so she offered that one to us instead, and we actually preferred the alternate! We just needed a place to take "getting ready" photos for our wedding and the duplex was the perfect setup. The decor was stylish and chic, and there was plenty of natural light! There's parking in the back and on the street, and the neighborhood is extremely walkable. We'd be happy to stay here again!

I had an amazing stay, the property is charming, warm and comfortable. The neighborhood is very charming as well, with great restaurants and stores just minutes away. I would absolutely stay again. The host were kind and accommodating to my every need.

Sydney’s place was as described, cute and comfy and close by to everything we wanted to do in the Dilworth neighborhood and in Charlotte proper. Appreciated the closeness to walk to multiple restaurants as well as the off street parking. Was the perfect place for a girls weekend!

Location is fantastic. Master bedroom was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom is very small with no counter space. Unit is conveniently located with easy parking behind. We were able to Uber to downtown and around Charlotte with no issues.

This house was perfect for our quick stay in Charlotte. You could tell they care about their guests by all the small details. The owners were very responsive as well!

A great little place to stay in the south end area. We needed a place to stay for a wedding, and having quick access to the grocery store and coffee shop up the road was a plus.

Overall the place was good. The neighborhood is really what drew us to this location with charming craftsman homes all around. The hosts were incredibly responsive and that was good. I think my expectations were very high because the photos in the listing were so beautiful and all of the ratings were 5 stars. In person, it was very clear that the building was actually quite old. The kitchen was renovated but everything else seemed original to the house. Sadly, the photos led me to believe this place was fully updated. It also wasn’t immediately clear that the house was located so closely to a busy road. In one way it was great because you can walk to coffee shops and restaurants, but the main road itself isn’t very pedestrian-friendly or “stroll-worthy”. In person, the house appeared to be one of the oldest houses on the block. A full shot of the front of the house would have been great to see. Inside, the furniture seemed cheap. And it’s placement often didn’t make sense. Lights had no outlets to plug into and their cords were left unplugged. The plates were metallic and not microwave safe. The backyard is not one to really lounge in unless you like looking at a gravel lot. The fuzzy rug in the living room is not meant for the roller chair put on top. There was paint chipping in the bathroom. There were dead bugs curled up in the windowsills. To us, our perception was that this Airbnb was quickly flipped, patched and available for rent but could use a little bit more work.

We enjoyed our stay here. the house is a perfect mix of original character and modern upgrades/style. The bedroom had lamps with wireless charging which came in handy since we forgot our chargers at home. The bed was also extremely comfortable! This bnb has a great location, about 3 miles from downtown Charlotte but extremely walkable to restaurants and bars in the area.

The duplex is very cute and quaint. There is nice artwork around the house. The neighborhood is awesome. You will see people walking in the neighborhood throughout the day. You can also walk right across the street to the Food Lion or restaurants. Communication was phenomenal! They would even email to make sure everything was going great.

This place is Awesome. It is very clean, cute (looks just like the pictures), and is located in a great neighborhood. It is close to everywhere we wanted to go. The hosts (Sydney and Ashley) were very communicative. We hope that we will be able to stay on our next trip to Charlotte.

This space was the perfect size for my family. It was perfectly centered around everything that we needed. There were plenty of towels and Sydney proved complimentary aveeno body wash ands treseme shampoo and conditioner. The host was extremely caring and responsive and told me to rest the morning of checkout and not to worry about cleaning. If allowed, we would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Wonderful space! Our family had a great stay here. Perfect location close to the city and in a charming area next to Freedom Park. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. We visit Charlotte often and this now one of our favorites!
